Domus

Domus is an open-source smart home platform built with Claude Opus, Gemini 3.5, and Antigravity, designed to provide a seamless experience across Web, Desktop, and Mobile from a single codebase. Control and automate devices from ecosystems like Tapo, Xiaomi, Tuya, MQTT, Matter, and Zigbee, create custom lighting scenes, and receive real-time device updates through WebSocket integration. Domus also features Ambient Sync Screen Share, allowing smart lights to react instantly to on-screen colors for an immersive experience. Built with a self-hosted architecture powered by FastAPI and PostgreSQL, Domus gives users complete ownership of their smart home data without relying on cloud services. Tech Stack: Next.js 15, React 19, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, WebSocket, Capacitor, Electron, TypeScript, and Python.
